Benefits

Breastmilk and natural ingredient soap is a gentle, nourishing option designed with the whole family in mind; from newborns to adults with sensitive skin. Rich in naturally occurring fats, proteins, and vitamins, breastmilk has long been valued in traditional skincare for its soothing and moisturizing properties. When combined with plant-based oils and carefully selected natural ingredients, it creates a bar that cleanses without stripping the skin’s natural protective barrier.

Unlike harsh commercial soaps, this type of cold-processed soap is crafted to retain the integrity of its nourishing ingredients. It produces a soft, creamy lather that helps support hydration while leaving skin feeling calm, clean, and balanced. Many families appreciate it for everyday use because it is mild enough for delicate baby skin, yet effective enough for adults seeking a more natural skincare routine.

Ideal for those looking to simplify their skincare, breastmilk and natural ingredient soap offers a thoughtful blend of tradition and nature. Each bar reflects a focus on purity, intentional ingredients, and gentle care. At Two Sprouts Wellness, we are about supporting skin that feels comforted, nourished, and naturally healthy.

How it's made

At Two Sprouts Wellness, each bar of breastmilk soap is carefully handcrafted in small batches using the traditional cold process method. This gentle method allows the ingredients to be blended and cured slowly, creating a high-quality, long-lasting bar with a creamy, luxurious lather.

Every batch begins with your selected natural ingredients, which are combined with breastmilk and a carefully measured solution that includes lye (sodium hydroxide). Although lye is essential in the soap-making process, it does not remain in the finished product. Through a natural chemical reaction called saponification, the oils and lye transform into soap and glycerin, resulting in a safe, gentle bar.

The mixture is blended at precise temperatures and poured into molds by hand, where it is left to set and begin the saponification process. The cold process technique allows the soap to cure over time, helping it develop its smooth texture and rich consistency. Once unmolded, each bar is hand-cut and left to cure further, ensuring it is fully set before it reaches your home.

This slow, intentional process reflects our commitment to simplicity, quality, and care in every product we create. Each bar is unique, made with attention to detail and a deep respect for the ingredients that go into it. Every batch is carefully checked for consistency, including pH testing, to ensure the soap has properly completed the curing process and meets quality standards.

Handling

At Two Sprouts Wellness, every step of our process is carried out with care, cleanliness, and attention to detail. Our products are made in a clean, controlled environment using small-batch methods to ensure consistency and quality. All materials are handled with proper hygiene practices, and equipment is thoroughly cleaned between batches. Each product is clearly labeled and packaged to maintain its integrity during storage and shipping. We recommend storing soaps in a cool, dry place to help preserve their quality and longevity.

Shelf life & Storage

Proper storage helps ensure your soap stays in its best condition and lasts as long as possible. Because this is a cold-processed, natural soap made with nourishing ingredients, it should be kept in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and excess moisture when not in use. Between washes, allowing the bar to dry fully on a well-draining soap dish will help extend its life and maintain its quality. For added convenience and to help maximize longevity, a soap bag is also a great option.  A soap bag allows the bar to dry between uses while gently exfoliating the skin and helping you use every last bit of soap. When stored and cared for properly, natural soap can continue to age gracefully over time, often becoming even harder and longer-lasting, while still providing a gentle, effective cleanse for the skin.

Turnaround time

All orders are carefully processed with intention and care to ensure the highest quality product. Because each bar is handcrafted in small batches and includes custom breastmilk handling, please allow a turnaround time of approximately 6-8weeks from the time your milk is received and your order is confirmed. This timeframe allows for proper processing, curing, and curing time needed to create a long-lasting, gentle bar of soap. You will receive an email notification once your breastmilk has safely arrived and again when your order has been completed and is ready for delivery or pickup. We truly appreciate your patience as each order is made with care, respect, and attention to detail.

Our soaps are made with thoughtfully chosen natural ingredients and are designed to be gentle on sensitive skin; however, every individual’s skin is unique, and sensitivities or allergic reactions can still occur. We recommend reviewing the full ingredient list before use, especially if you have known allergies to specific oils, botanicals, or additives. If you are trying the soap for the first time, a patch test on a small area of skin is a simple way to check for any reaction before full use. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. This product is intended for external use only and is made with care to support a gentle, nourishing cleansing experience for the whole family.
